Born Teresa Ann Von Reiman, I grew up in West Frankfort, a small town nestled in the heart of Southern Illinois. Since that time, I have traveled extensively in the United States, Mexico, El Salvador, and Canada. In addition to traveling, I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Even as a child I could spin many a tale created my by active imagination.
I was a reporter for a small weekly newspaper in Florida, "The Caloosabelle", for several years, before I began a career in management. I have also worked for a daily publication, "The Daily American", which is published in West Frankfort, Illinois. I am now working as a freelance journalist for several publications.
My first novel, "Storms of Destiny", was released on December 04, 2004. I also have a second novel, "The Eyes of Horus" that was released in August of 2005. My third book, "The Eyes of Horus; A Day of Reckoning", is finished and ready to be published. I have several poems, short stories, and articles published online and in print. I will soon begin my fourth book in the above series.
I am the publisher of "The Writer's Nook and Reader's Corner", a magazine and website designed to help aspiring writers get exposure, be interviewed, and get information they need about publishers and other areas of interest. We include samples of works provided by a variety of authors. We try to give readers a chance to sample the wares of many talented writers and generally have a lot of fun doing it. The site is located at http://www.tavonreiman.net.
I am also the author of "The Writer's Den" and "Trench Talk", which are monthly columns published here on "The Writer's Nook and Reader's Corner".
My writing goals are simply to express the many images that my imagination creates in a manner that will both enthrall and entertain my readers. I try to make sure that when someone puts down one of my pieces that they are always looking for more.
Thanks, T.A. Von Reiman
